Groups, Mental Health Forums and Community Organisations:

We have put together educational workshops, one-off talks and seminars, self-help programmes and facilitated support groups across a range of fields and organisations. Some examples include:

  • Adapting CBT into training workshops for specific groups including Churches, Youth Groups and Parenting Classes.
  • Providing CBT workshops and facilitating group work for specific groups with ‘crisis’ needs. E.g, bereavement, surviving critical life limiting illness and trauma.

Our programmes aim to promote effectiveness of staff/ members and improve the performance of your organisation.

Why use our Service?

  • According to the CBI, absenteeism cost the UK economy over £13 billion in 2005.
  • Current research is indicating Presenteeism (working when unwell) may cost substantially more (MacGregor et al. 2008)
  • Nearly three in ten of all employees will have a mental health problem of some sort in any given year. People with anxiety and depression take 3½ times as many days off work as people with no mental disorder.
  • Depression is regarded as one of the top three causes of disability in Northern Ireland.
